This event led to the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Formal charges have been brought against two men related to a luggage theft where a substance thought to be pepper spray resulted in harm at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and two counts of using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.

This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A toddler was caught up in the incident in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were subsequently released.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – led to train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
