White House Denounces 'Democrat Hoax' as More Epstein Estate Images Made Public
Democratic lawmakers have published a additional set of what they labeled "disturbing" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The opening batch of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 released later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the approximately 100,000 images provided to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the behavior and associations of Epstein.
The disgraced financier died by apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking crimes.
High-Profile Individuals in the Photos
Featured among the notable figures visible in the initial batch are well-known figures including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
White House Reaction
The White House responded to the release in a official comment, accusing Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the pictures for political purposes and to "seek to establish a false account."
"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," an administration official stated, maintaining that "the Trump administration has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging transparency, making public reams of papers, and demanding further investigations into Epstein's liberal connections."
Congressional Democrat Comment
The images were published lacking captions, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with the rich and powerful.
"The moment has come to halt this White House concealment and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a comment.
The publication of these materials comes as the House panel pressing on with its probe into the Epstein matter.
